Updated guidelines covering photography of people and children

If you take photographs of people and children enjoying the forest, which will be used by the FC for promotion purposes, you should make yourself aware of the updated guidelines in the Advice and Guidance section.

Isobel and John’s recent photo assignments can now be seen in the Contact Sheet section

Follow the link on the left and find out where we have been and what we have been photographing. Images that have been catalogued will show the new Library reference number as well as our original working one.

Partnership project.

If you are working with outside agencies on joint projects you can offer them free use of the library (some restrictions apply to freelance photographers work). All we need from you is written acknowledgement that you will endorse the project.

Search Tips

Search result brings back a very long list you can enter another keyword to narrow it down.
E.G. enter your forest district name, or a forest name, and then refine your search by, for example, the season or an activity, walking, cycling etc. Use the Start a New Search link to start a fresh search.
We now add the date the photographs were taken to each photograph so you can get back the most recent pictures.

Help

We are in the process of creating a list of keywords in order to standardise the system. If you would like to help us with this we would certainly value your assistance and experience.

Also we would like your help with a site editing and audit exercise we will be carrying out this autumn/winter. I you would like to be your locations library co-ordinator please contact Isobel Cameron or Neill Campbell
